# Getting Started

## 01. Downloading & Installing Plugin

#### 01. Download the plugin jar from buildbybit

#### 02. Upload the plugin jar to your server

Upload the `DLP.jar` file to your minecraft server's `plugins` folder <br>

## 02. Getting a license key

#### 01. Visit support channel in our discord server (Sundevs)

#### 03. Copy the license key

#### 04. Add licese key to license.txt file

Goto your plugin's folder **`plugins\discordleaderboardspremium`**&#x61;nd copy that license key to **`License.txt`** file  then save it and restart the server.\ <br>

## 03. Setting up Discord Bot

#### 01. Visit Discord Devloper Portal

#### 02. Create new Application

#### 03. Enable Privileged Gateway Intent

#### 04. Reset and Copy your Discord Bot Token (Keep It in a safe place, we need that later)

Anyone can access your discord bot thro that discord token so please be careful and avoid sharing it

#### 05. Give Permissions & Invite The bot to your Discord Server

**Scops :**&#x20;

* `applications.commands` - Required
* `bot` - Required

**Bot Permission**&#x20;

* `Administrator` - Recommended&#x20;

#### 06. Add that bot token to config.yml & Restart Your Minecraft Server

Goto your plugin's folder **`plugins\discordleaderboardspremium`**&#x61;nd copy that bot token to **`Config.yml`** file  then save it and restart the server.

Now You will be able to Successfully Start the Plugin, Also Discord Bot gonna be online at the same time. If you are facing further issues please contact the developer by creating a ticket or support channel.

# Create New Leaderboard

## 01. Create AJLB Leaderboard

for use Discord leaderboard Premium you need to have Aj leaderboard, First follow following guide to create a new ajlb leaderboard if you don't have it yet

If you just created AJLB leaderboard before using DLP commands you have to [Reload the plugin](/resolving-issues/reload-dlp-plugin) and Refresh [Your Discord Client](/resolving-issues/reloading-discord-client) .

## 02. Use /Create Slash Command

Most of DLP Command are moved to discord as slash command. You need Administrator Permission to Execute those slash commands.

### - Create Command Arguments

1. **`Name`** - New Unique Identifier for leaderboard embed.
2. **`Title`** - Leaderboard Embed Title / Image Title.
3. **`Leaderboard`** - AJLB Leaderboard name "Usually Placeholder without %%".
4. **`Timed Type`** - AJLB Timed Type.
5. **`Top`** - Amount of Players that's going to be displayed in Leaderboard.
6. **`Type`** - leaderboard Type.
7. **`Embed Template`** - Leaderboard Embed template (Usually Ends with .yml)
8. **`Image Template`** - Leaderboard Image template (Usually Ends with .html)
9. **`is Public`** - whether leaderboard is accessible to public via public /leaderboard command

## 03. Refresh Your Discord Client

Once new leaderboard created server will update the slash commands for use those newly edited slash command you may have to [Reload your discord client](/resolving-issues/reloading-discord-client). best way to do that is by pressing <mark style="color:yellow;">**`CTRL + R`**</mark>.


# Reload DLP Plugin

Reloading The plugin may cause problems and most of the time does ouput warnings to console. Please avoid Unnecessary plugin reloads. We would recommend Restarting the server as a proper solution.

## 01. Reloading With Commands

DLP provides 2 main ways to reload. as first method you can execute `/dlp reload` command in your server console or in minecraft chat. \
\
DLP also provides Discord slash command for reloading the plugin as well as restarting the bot. for reload plugin you can execute `/reload` command. (this command requires you to have administrator permission)


# Reloading Discord Client

Occasionally, after making changes to servers, you might experience a delay in using certain slash commands or their arguments. No need to stress! To resolve this issue, simply restart your Discord client. We appreciate your patience and happy chatting! 🌟

## How to Reload Your Discord Client

### On Windows:

* Press `Ctrl + R` to Refresh Your Discord&#x20;

### On macOS:

* Press `Cmd + R` to Refresh Your Discord&#x20;

### On Mobile (iOS and Android):

1. Close Discord:
   * Swipe away the Discord app from the recent apps list.
2. Reopen Discord:
   * Tap on the Discord app icon to launch it again.

### On Web Browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.):

1. **Close Discord:**
   * Close the tab or window where Discord is open.
2. **Reopen Discord:**
   * Open a new tab or window.
   * Type in the Discord web address (e.g., [https://discord.com](https://discord.com/)) and press Enter to launch Discord again.
